Valerie and I had worked on the tourism director position for over a year and a half. We were very frustrated with the lack of cooperation we were getting. That's when I emailed her saying maybe it's time for us to do a Thelma and Louise (a reference from the movie where two women drive off into the Grand Canyon at the end.) I was saying maybe we should both resign.
